The Dance School
In 1979, I founded the Performing Arts Center on the principal that praise, love and encouragement are the best teaching tools. We do not believe in the “drill sergeant” methods of teaching, which leaves psychological scars that devastate a child’s esteem. I believe that a positive faculty develops positive students who have self-esteem and a sense of worth. The combination of praise, encouragement and an expert faculty provides the best learning environment for children to develop dance and /or drama skills, as well as poise, self-confidence and an understanding of the cultural arts. The techniques learned will remain for a lifetime and poor training can take a lifetime to correct.
Over the past 25 years, the Performing Arts Center has proven itself, both as a school for those students who want to take dance or drama for the fun of it, and for those who want to make a career in the performing arts. I look forward to having your child attend the Performing Arts Center.
